Scope and principles<\/h2>\n<p>This Policy applies to data processed through the website, forms, user area, email, telephone and messaging channels used by ARR. We process only data that are adequate and necessary for specified purposes, keep them only for as long as needed and apply security measures proportionate to the risk.<\/p>\n\n<h2>3. Data we may process and where they come from<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Identity and contact details:<\/strong> name, email address, telephone number, language and preferred contact channel.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Property enquiry:<\/strong> property of interest, location, type, budget, purpose, preferences, message and contact history.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Contractual and supporting documents:<\/strong> where needed for a transaction or mortgage-credit request, tax number, identification document, residence, employment and financial details, evidence and transaction information. Please do not send these data through public forms unless ARR expressly asks you to do so.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Account and website features:<\/strong> username, protected credentials, favourites, property comparisons and preferences.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Marketing:<\/strong> subscription status, consent, preferences and unsubscribe record.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Technical data:<\/strong> IP address, date and time, pages viewed, browser, device, online identifiers, referral source and security data.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We obtain data directly from you, from your device and browser or, where lawful and relevant, from transaction partners, public authorities or publicly available sources. If you give us another person's data, you must be entitled to do so and ensure that the person receives this information.<\/p>\n\n<h2>4. Required information<\/h2>\n<p>Fields marked as required are needed to answer your request or provide the service. If you do not complete them, we may be unable to proceed. Consent to marketing and non-essential technologies is optional, and refusing it does not prevent access to essential features.<\/p>\n\n<h2>6. Recipients and service providers<\/h2>\n<p>Access is limited to staff, agents and service providers who need the data for the purposes above and are subject to confidentiality duties. Where necessary, we may disclose data to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>hosting, maintenance, security, IT support, email and website-management providers;<\/li>\n<li>Contact Form 7 and Flamingo, which receive and store enquiries in the protected WordPress area, and the email provider used to forward them;<\/li>\n<li>Intuit Mailchimp when you subscribe to the newsletter;<\/li>\n<li>Google (Analytics, Ads, Tag Manager and email services), Meta, Yandex, VK\/Mail.ru and X\/Twitter for measurement or advertising as described in the cookies section;<\/li>\n<li>WhatsApp\/Meta and Telegram when you choose to contact us through those services;<\/li>\n<li>owners, developers, other agencies, banks, credit intermediaries, insurers, lawyers, solicitors, notaries and other professionals involved in the requested transaction;<\/li>\n<li>tax, judicial, law-enforcement, regulatory or other public authorities where required by law.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Some recipients, such as banks, notaries, social networks and messaging apps, act as independent controllers and apply their own privacy policies.<\/p>\n\n<h2>7. International transfers<\/h2>\n<p>Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where this happens, we rely as appropriate on a European Commission adequacy decision, Standard Contractual Clauses or another safeguard under Articles 44 et seq. GDPR. Retention periods<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Enquiries that do not lead to a contract:<\/strong> normally up to 24 months after the last contact.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Website account:<\/strong> while active and afterwards for as long as needed to resolve requests or meet obligations.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Newsletter:<\/strong> until you withdraw consent or after a prolonged period of inactivity; we may keep an unsubscribe record so that we respect your choice.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Transactions and contracts:<\/strong> for the relationship and applicable legal periods, which may reach 10 years for certain tax, accounting or anti-money-laundering records.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Technical and security logs:<\/strong> normally up to 90 days unless needed to investigate an incident or defend legal claims.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>At the end of the relevant period, data are deleted, anonymised or kept in restricted form where the law requires retention.<\/p>\n\n<h2>9. Cookies, measurement and external services<\/h2>\n<p>The website uses cookies and similar technologies. Strictly necessary cookies support security, sessions, forms and requested functions. The <code>arr_language_choice<\/code> language-preference cookie keeps your choice for 180 days. Features such as favourites and property comparison may also store preferences in your browser.<\/p>\n<p>The website also integrates Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, Yandex Metrica, Mail.ru analytics and X\/Twitter Ads. These services may receive IP addresses, identifiers, device information, pages viewed and interactions for measurement, attribution and advertising. The applicable lawful basis for non-essential technologies is consent where required by law.<\/p>\n<p>You can reject or erase cookies in your browser settings and withdraw consent previously given. Blocking essential cookies may prevent parts of the website from working. If you open WhatsApp, Telegram, Google Maps or another external link, that provider processes data under its own policy.<\/p>\n\n<h2>10. Your rights<\/h2>\n<p>Under the GDPR, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability, and you may object to processing. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing. Where processing relies on legitimate interests, you may object for reasons relating to your particular situation; objections to direct marketing are always honoured.<\/p>\n<p>Email <a href=\"mailto:ola@arr.pt\">ola@arr.pt<\/a>, stating the right you wish to exercise and providing what is needed to confirm your identity. We will not ask for more information than is necessary for verification. Security<\/h2>\n<p>We apply appropriate technical and organisational safeguards, including access control, permission management, backups, software updates, abuse protection and incident-response procedures. No system is completely invulnerable, so please do not send sensitive documents through public forms or unagreed channels.<\/p>\n\n<h2>12. Children and automated decisions<\/h2>\n<p>ARR's property services are not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect children's data through the website. We do not make solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
